Houston and Harris County’s local census drive “Yes! to Census 2020” have released three of five murals in undercounted neighborhoods to build awareness of the Census 2020 and the importance of being counted.

The dynamic, public-facing grassroots initiative is comprised of diverse artists to create colorful, life-affirming murals to creatively and holistically convey the local census message: completing the census is important, safe, easy and urgent.

Three of five murals have been released:

1. Gulfton at 6227 Southwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77074

2. Montrose at 1203 Westheimer Road Houston, TX 77006

3. Alief at 7850 Howell Sugar Land, Road Houston, TX 77083

Aldine will be released on June 23 at 10:30 at the High Meadows Library in Aldine at 4500 Aldine Mail Route Road.

And the final mural at the S.H.A.P.E. Community Center will be made public in July.
